Rome police were called to Home Depot on Hicks Drive in reference to the theft of a Kubota Excavator and trailer that were rented and never returned, reports stated.

According to Rome Police Department reports:

A group of subjects rented the Kubota U17 excavator worth $22,499 and a trailer worth $3,871. The equipment was supposed to be returned on Tuesday, but was not and they never heard from the renters.
